About me

I am a spiritual director who is trained to host space for adults, groups and children. Time together includes deep listening and noticing what God is up to in the struggles and pain, in the joys and delight, and in the mundane and ordinariness of life. My desire is to offer space that is safe to be, to wonder, and to reflect. After 14 years in the classroom teaching gifted children and supporting staff, I fell in love with spiritual direction as another way to walk beside people on their journey. During those classroom years I became a cognitive coach and a restorative circle facilitator.

My husband and I live in Michigan where we enjoy biking, kayaking, hiking, and a good board or card game. My family story includes the joy of two young adult children who provide us places to visit in Minnesota and Florida. I am a breast cancer survivor and a kidney donor.
